Thanks to our computer labs initiative for Global Outreach School, not only the children are benefitting with weekly lessons from their new IT teacher, but also the teachers themselves also receive trainings via the computer tablets.
A ZOOM call was arranged between teachers from Geneva and Sierra Leone teachers last week and will be an ongoing program for giving teachers new methods and materials to constantly add onto what they already have existing there.
The teachers training also included an introduction to our educational app, Water Well, which they will introduce to each of their classrooms to learn more about the water crisis, how we get our water, why our bodies need water, how water gets contaminated, how to filter our water and how to maintain good hygiene so as to not contaminate our drinking water.
